Our client is looking for an SAP Program Manager to join their team for a contract opportunity!
The Program Manager is responsible for managing one or more highly complex projects, and/or managing a program of interdependent projects to collectively produce a common business outcome. Other responsibilities include defining, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and bringing closure to each key management area: portfolio planning and tracking, planning and dependency management, communication management, risk and issue management, scope management, performance management across projects, resource management, mentoring, and departmental projects.
Top skills you need to have:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Information Technology
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the IT field overseeing a portfolio of small to large projects in a cross-functional environment
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading projects with budgets of $1M or greater
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading projects with 20 or more members
- Minimum 2 years of experience introducing and implementing Project Management processes and standards
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing dotted-line coaching, mentoring, career development, performance management, recruiting and hiring
- Experience managing cross-team projects within SAP environments
- Experience working with SAP implementation partners
- Experience interacting with customers and building business relationships
- Experience interacting with third party suppliers
- Experience with managing a medium to large implementation
- Experience recovering a troubled project, preferred
- Budgeting experience, preferred
- PMI certification or training, preferred
